All Levels Welcome

You do not need to be a flexible or advanced yogi to join this retreat.

One of the most important principles for me as a yoga teacher is making each class I teach accessible for all bodies and all levels. For me....

The goal is not the pose. The goal is coming home to you in your own sweet, sacred space, and feeling so good in your body.

I do teach classes that will strengthen your core, increase your flexibility, and open up the energy blockages. I give at least two and usually three stages - "stay here, take it deeper, or go even deeper to this"- so you decide. My goal is empowerment: you decide what you want to do, if it feels good to you, and how deep you want to go into a pose or practice. All things, always, are optional with me. You decide. Child's pose is always available.

My goal is to send you home with new wellness habits you can integrate into your daily life that don't take much time, willpower, or energy. My intention is that you will continue to deepen your meditation practice and intuition. I wish for you to feel deeply supported, connected, and empowered.

A Transformational Retreat to Absorb the Powerful Energy and Beauty in Sedona Arizona and Enter the Love Frequency

What Makes This Retreat Special

I invite you to immerse yourself in the powerful energy of Sedona as we root to the earth, and once fully grounded, elevate into higher vibrations of consciousness. We will do yoga, qigong, breath work, breath work, hiking, and energy healing so we are prepared to fly high in meditation.

What is an Energy Vortex?

Let’s think in the metaphysical. Vortexes are places of heightened energy. Almost as though in these Sedona energy vortexes, there is a crack line in the earth.

Why Travel to the Sedona Energy Vortexes?

Sometimes you travel for play, adventure, relaxation, or to meet missed family members or friends. But other times you get the chance to travel toward enlightenment, peace of mind, to find yourself, or spend more time with your soul. This can happen on any trip but there are certain parts of the world that are known as spiritual centers to “speed up” the process.

Long before the psychic Page Bryant named the energy vortexes of Sedona in 1980s, Native Americans recognized Sedona as a spiritual and healing center. The Yuvapai, Navajos, Hopi and Tonto Apaches only used the land as sites for sacred ceremonies. They came to heal in the red rocks of Sedona. Within these energy vibrations they found their hearts. Negative ions in the natural environment is said to balances neurotransmitters and help reduce headaches and other maladies.

If nothing else, there is a power in connecting with the intense beauty of mother nature in an area like Sedona. Come to the Sedona energy vortexes without expectations, without preconceived notions, only attuned with your soul and your truth and the energy vortexes might impact you more than most seekers.

Retreat FAQs

How do I travel to Sedona? Can you help me with arranging transport to the retreat?

You are responsible for arranging your own transfer to the the retreat center in Sedonda.

We will be at staying in the heart of Sedona's red rocks with a view of the famous Cathedral Rock energy vortex and hiking trails. This is the providing the perfect space for cultivation of a deep connection with nature and your inner self. Sedona is the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate, be inspired by the beautiful nature of Sedona and the energy vortexes from this sacred land.

Just 50 minutes drive from Flagstaff airport and 2 hours drive from Phoenix airport, Sedona is easily accessible by car, taxi or airport shuttle by Groome Transportation *https://groometransportation.com/sedona/. Airport shuttles must be booked ahead of time due to availability, and some services may be seasonal so it's recommended to contact the shuttle company directly and book ahead of time.

Transportation from the airport to the house is not included in your retreat price.

When is the retreat check-in and check-out?

Rooms will generally be available for check in at 4:00 PM. Check out is at 4:00 PM.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

In order to secure the venue and programming, we are required to enter into binding contracts with 3rd parties that do not allow for refund or cancellation in any instance except for limited instances where “acts of god” render the entire event impossible. For example, if due to the COVID-19 pandemic worsening and the Hotel & Retreat center must close down, then we would be able to get a refund and refund all ticket holders. Otherwise, unfortunately, we must enforce a strict cancellation policy and there will be no refunds in any instance. Also, purchasing trip insurance to protect yourself is always a good idea.

You may transfer your ticket under certain conditions to a friend or family member. You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 4-days before the retreat start date without penalty by emailing Heather at heather.n.lenz@gmail.com After that time, our strict cancellation policy applies.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

Even if we need to cancel or reschedule the retreat due to “extreme situations” including Covid-19 related shut downs, we will only be able to refund ticket costs at most, and would not in any instance be able to compensate you for other costs, such as flights booked, etc. Due to this concern, we highly recommend that you purchase personal travel insurance.

We suggest that you include “cancel for any reason” with your policy and include medical coverage. Many insurance policies must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation so please prioritize accordingly. Some credit cards also come with travel insurance benefits which you might want to consider.

Will I be able to keep up a daily yoga asana and meditation practice after the retreat?

I will be sending you home with some printed resources so you can continue in your own personal yoga and qi practice. I also have plenty of free videos on Qigong and Yoga With Heather on Youtube and some paid online video programs as well.

I find that a deep dive into yoga for a week beings to ground in how nourishing it is to integrate yoga into your life. I am confident that when you go home you will be able to maintain a practice that works for you.

When is the rest of the payment due?

Any balance remaining after payment of the initial deposit will be invoiced to you and due immediately five months prior to start of retreat, so expect an email from us with this bill around 3 months before the retreat. As noted above, we have a strict cancellation policy with no refunds (including for any deposits) so please make sure you have sufficient funds ready to pay any remaining balance at this time.

Can my partner or friend come with me if they don't want to do the yoga?

Yes. Everyone should feel free to take part in the activities and classes that feel right for them and skip the rest. However, there are no discounts related to non-participation in certain aspects of the retreat schedule.

What about COVID?

As of now, taking into account the current state of affairs, we don’t intend to require proof of vaccination or pre-arrival testing. However, if you get sick and test positive before or during the retreat, you will not be allowed to attend and there are no refunds. We encourage you to purchase a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” trip insurance policy to protect yourself if this is a concern. Social distancing and mask wearing may be implemented if situations change.

Lastly, please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event.

How difficult/advanced are the Yoga Qi classes?

Heather has created the retreat to be accessible and an enriching experience for newer to experienced yogis and at various fitness levels. Heather will offer adjustments and different options in all the classes, but especially in the in more vigorous Yoga Qi Flow Vinyasa classes.

Is Yoga Indoors or Outdoors?

Heather is hoping to have at least a few classes outdoors, but it is dependent on the weather and most classes will be indoors.
